September 2023 Meet-Up!

Who:    All Friends of Esprit Park
Where: Rooftop of The Landing
1395 22nd Street (@Texas)

Pizza, Petanque, and Bocce on the roof of The Landing! Dogs and pizza and kids and fun!
We encourage all play levels to join–from experienced to “absolutely no clue but sounds like fun.” 

Pétanque play guided by Pierre Chatel and Camilla Reaney–by way of France and Finland. Bocce play guides TBD. Raise your hand if you can guide your neighbors in how to play Bocce.

Mark your calendars!  Esprit Park Work Party
Saturday, August 14th, 10AM - 1PM 

Show your favorite Dopatch park how much you love it by helping to clean it up. Meet your neighbors and spend time outside spreading mulch, weeding, watering, planting, pruning trees and bushes - among other activities. Bring your own gloves and no open-toed shoes, please.

Daily Driver Bagels and Coffee will be provided.

Sponsors include local businesses Daily Driver, Pawtrero Bathouse + Feed Co., PawPatch Pastries & Pet Boutique, and Friends of Esprit Park.

Fellow Dogpatchers, you will soon be able to weigh in on the future of a Dogpatch treasure — Esprit Park! On Thursday, December 3rd, there will be a 90-minute online community meeting to provide feedback on plans for the park. This is your chance to express your thoughts on Esprit and make your voices heard. Don’t pass up this opportunity to speak out and ensure the park is all it ought to be!

Take a socially distanced Halloween tour of our Slow Streets in Dogpatch - costumes are optional but welcome!

This event complies with SF Halloween Guidance and scheduled on Friday to avoid crowds. This is not a gathering, but a way for us to celebrate Halloween (and our slow streets) while socially distanced. 

Residents along Minnesota St. are encouraged to decorate and consider having candy/treats available. Get creative with your socially distanced candy distribution: we’re thinking candy chutes, canons, or some Mardi Gras-style flinging.

Pull some weeds, rake some mulch, meet your neighbors - there’s no better way to spend a Saturday morning!

Join the Esprit Park Volunteer Gardeners and help keep our park in shape. Come for the morning or for an hour: however much time you can spare is worthwhile.

  • Event will happen rain or shine.

  • Wear closed-toed shoes, long pants and layers.

  • LIGHT REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED.

What: Esprit Park Clean Up and Beautification.
When: Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Where: Minnesota and 20th by the Garden Shed.
Time: 10am - 12 noon.

Work party coordinated with SF Recreation and Parks Department. Rec. and Parks Gardener on site to lead volunteers and keep us safe.
